I can always be distracted by love, but eventually I get horny for my art
Bill Blackwood is an internationally successful artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. After leaving Glasgow School of Art, he spent the years 1972-5 discovering America.
In Denver, Colorado his work evolved into 3-dimensional architectural and conceptual work for multinationals including AMF Head, Head Ski, Vail associates and many more. On his return to Scotland he eventually set up a design and architectural concept company in Edinburgh dealing with clients such as Babcock International, SLTA and Mactaggart and Mickel.
ORIGINAL ARTWORKS
Too much of a good thing is wonderful
Exhibiting regularly throughout the UK including the RGI, Scottish Young Contemporaries and McTears, Blackwood’s works have been acquired by many Blue Chip companies, Freshfields London, Dickson Minto and Skerryvore.
He continues to stage solo Exhibitions at prestigious locations in Scotland. In 2009 he jointly established The Well Hung Art Gallery to promote new and exciting work by artists in Scotland. Blackwood’s work continues to delight by his sensual approach to the human form and landscape.
